I was wondering out of the 3 recommended textbooks how much we use each one? This is so I can decide whether to buy all 3 or just the one by 'Blanchard' which is the main textbook?

Hi,
Thanks for the question - lots of people have been asking me this!
***The main textbook is Blanchard. I would recommend buying that book and only that book.***
Two side comments: 1. I will be sourcing material from different books, so do not just rely on Blanchard. You will need to use the library from time to time. Having said that, I will *try* and be more specific in future lecture handouts about what is recommended reading from non-Blanchard sources.
2. There is high correlation between many different **intermediate** macro textbooks. So, if you can't afford Blanchard, or have an old edition - don't worry! Use your common sense to find sections in other intermediate textbooks that fit with the lecture material / provide support for answering problem questions.
I hope this makes things clearer! Oliver
