Hi, would you recommend using equations and graphs in the 'short answer questions' or will these be suited to just words? Thanks!

Hi,
Sit in the exam, read the question and then think to yourself: How can I best answer this question and convey my understand to the examiner? Would a diagram be useful? Yes/no. Would including an equation help clarify the point I want to make? Yes/no. If the answer to these rhetorical questions is yes - do it, if not - don't! There is not a fixed rule. Some questions are suited to words. Some are suited to diagrams and words. Some are suited to equations and words. Some are suited to diagrams, equations and words. ***None are suited to no words***
Best Oliver
